"At the same time as recognising that autobiography is developed in relationship, I also see it as experienced subjectively through the body, a result of my training in witnessing and tracking my movement behaviour in Authentic Movement practice. For example, all of my descriptive writings in this chapter describe the effects of the external environment and their impact on my individual body. However, I also hope these writings have a broader scope, moving beyond simply describing my internal experience, and instead, opening a space for writings that value subjective experience over the body as object, as well as acknowledging how bodies are informed by the contexts they inhabit."
